Epidemiological Study of Different Types of Cancers Among Adults PERSIAN Guilan Cohort Study

Background Cancer is the leading cause of death in world after cardiovascular disease, and third Iran. Objective This epidemiological study aims to investigate different types cancers Sowme’e Sara County, Guilan, Methods analytical cross-sectional a part PERSIAN Guilan cohort that was conducted on 10520 adult men women County. The prevalence rate determined per 100,000 people. Descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, frequency, percentage) were used for describing data. Statistical analyzes performed STATA version 13 software. Results In this study, 94 patients with cancer 98 recorded. Most female (n=65, 68.4%). mean age at diagnosis 47.61±11.23 44.30±7.87 years, respectively (Total=45.58±10.09 years). most common breast cancer, brain & central nervous system prostate cancer. minimum 23 19 respectively,. Conclusion Screening living County should be done which currently underway using mammography specific antigen tests.
